I got a MOTORCYCLE

Yes it's true. After years of scouring the globe, I finally found a motorcycle. I even paid for it and now am the official owner. It is a happy day for me. I was passing through craigslist and found it. The guy I bought it from just posted it this morning and I was the first to respond to his add. The carbs need cleaning, but other than that the bike is in great condition. There is some slight rust on the spokes of the rims, but I can hopefully steel wool them to get that off. The tires are new and the rest of the bike looks good. My boss Johnny went with me, as he knows quite a bit about bikes. He gave me the nod and I gave the guy the money. The guy even brought the bike to Johnny's house for me. I was going to have to come back and pick it up, or have Johnny's mechanic pick it up, so that was a very sweet bonus. The mechanic said hopefully I can have the bike back by friday or saturday and it will be running good, assuming the rest of the bike runs as good as it looks.
I don't have any pictures of my actual bike but here is one that very closely resembles mine. It will take me some time to polish up the chrome and the engine areas, but this bike is the same color and has the same style rims. My bike however does not have the wind screen.
Ok there you have it. Now I only have to get the old title, register this bike in my name, apply for a new title, get my license, buy a helmet and some gloves and take a rider safety course on base. That's it! =)

Sweet! You should drive it out here and go cruisin' with Zachary. Looks like there is plenty of room on the back for Bean so you can bring her too.

Hooray! I'm happy for you that you *finally* found a bike. Hopefully the carbohydrates get cleaned up real quick! :)
Love you.

Dude, you're not allowed to ride with me cause your bike is way sweeter than mine!!! That is awesome!

My boss gave me a nod today, but I didn't give him any money. Maybe you should get a new boss?

Drive carefully. Always wear a helmet. Don't forget to use your signals and turn them off after a turn. And go get a cool biker tattoo.

Jay, we are glad for you! I remember when Randy got his first bike, how proud he was of it. But I also remember that he had to "lay it down" a few times, and got scraped up. So please be careful, and watch out for the other vehicles.
We love y'all (I can say that to you cause now you live where it is a common contraction) and pray for you daily.

Dude, sweet bike! Is there some good spots around there to ride it around before you get a license. I want a bike but it's probably gonna be a few years. I can't even get my motorcycle license till i'm 21 anyway. Have fun riding!

I don't recommend the tatoo. But that's just me. I'm glad that you got one. I hear that the motorcycle ride from San Antonio to Las Vegas is really fun. ;)xz
